Gandhiji is honored with the title Mahatma which means “A great soul” .
We celebrate October 2 as the birth anniversary of Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi, who led perhaps the biggest mass movement in the world. The hallmark of this movement was non-violence. It is in recognition of his contributions that the United Nations has declared October 2 as the International Day of Non-violence.
Most of the knowledge about Gandhi comes from Ben Kingsley’s classic – ‘Gandhi’ – a film that introduced Gandhi to the classes and masses. For the masses, however, it was Rajkumar Hirani’s ‘Lage Raho Munna Bhai’ that introduced the Mahatma in a very much elegant n refined way. But neither Gandhi nor the significance of October 2 ends here. Gandhi’s strength came from his Spirituality, his Honesty and Simplicity and, of course, his absolute Conviction.
On This Pious Day, We at Dr. Pankti’s REVIVE Multi Speciality Clinic , appeal to our Patrons to Spread the message of Unity, Love and Non Violence throughout the Country and Thus pay Homage to the “Father of Our Nation”
